The goal-driven data solution

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra has a rich history of information spanning over 135 years, recorded in a variety of data sources. This was scattered across different systems, archives and data sources. Without a centralized structure, much valuable information remained untapped.

We developed a future-proof data platform for the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the foundation for a sustainable digital transformation. By linking, structuring and standardizing data from multiple systems, we make information faster to find and widely accessible within the organization. This prevents double work, increases efficiency and opens the door to further optimization. Thus we create overview and heritage becomes actively usable in daily practice.

What used to take hours of searching is now accessible within a few clicks. Thus, we lay the digital foundation with which the orchestra honors its past and is ready for the future.

Together with DSL, we are organizing our history in a modern way for the future. It still seems a long way off, but our goal is to have our rich history accessible to everyone by the time we celebrate our 150th anniversary. The nice thing about DSL is that, despite the exotic (data) idiom, they know their way around our orchestral history quickly. Let’s face it: not everyone can 4[2picc].3[enghrn].3[eskl,baskl].3[cfag] – 4.3.0.0 – pk.4slw[glsp].1hrp. – str:14.12.10.8.6 just translate to the correct piece of music.
