GVB performs a lot of maintenance work on trams, buses, and metro trains. Planning this work is challenging and time-consuming, considering external personnel hiring, vacation days, and various types of scheduling tasks. The Rail Materials department wants insights into the logged irregular hours (anomalies). With our anomaly detection model, there is now insight at the project level regarding productivity, completeness of hours, overtime, and absenteeism. This enables more effective planning per project with better staffing levels.
