Round Table - April 9, 2026
How do you actually bring data & AI initiatives into production?

Round Table from pilot to production
Within mobility, transportation, aviation and manufacturing, data & AI are high on the agenda. The challenge is the same everywhere: the step from experiment to structural implementation.
How do you ensure that initiatives don’t get stuck in pilots, but actually land in operations and create lasting value?
During this roundtable, we will share practical experience from complex, asset-intensive environments and discuss what it takes organizationally, managerially and technologically to make that move.
What makes this session valuable?
- Practical experience from long-term cooperation within aviation, mobility and manufacturing
- Understanding choices around IT/OT, governance and scaling up
- Open exchange with peers from similar, complex environments
- No pitches, but substantive conversation about what works and what doesn’t work
Data & AI structurally in production
Data Science Lab has been working intensively for years with Fokker Services Group to operationalize and scale up data initiatives within a complex, asset-intensive environment. During this session we will share how this collaboration has led to structural embedding in processes and decision making and what choices were decisive in this.
These lessons are directly applicable within other sectors such as mobility, transportation and manufacturing.
From Fokker, Frank Wehnes (Head of Digital Innovation), among others, will be present to share the perspective from the organization.

FAQs
Brief explanation of the most frequently asked questions surrounding the AI workshop for municipalities.
Who is the workshop for?
The workshop is designed for administrators, policy advisors, information managers, program managers and privacy or IT managers within municipalities. We bring together governance, policy and implementation so that everyone speaks the same language about the deployment of AI and data.
How long will the workshop last?
The standard version takes one half-day session (about 3 hours). For municipalities that want to go deeper into specific topics such as the AI Act, data governance or ethics, we also offer an in-depth day version.
What does the workshop cost?
The investment is €2,999 excluding VAT.
This includes preparation, materials and a concise action plan with recommendations and follow-up steps. If you start a follow-up trajectory with DSL within 3 months, we will settle part of this amount.
Can the workshop be adapted to our organization?
Yes, always. Each municipality has a different focus, from social domain to spatial planning or information management. We tailor the content to your priorities and can bring current projects or policy questions into the session.
Specifically, what does the workshop deliver?
Upon completion, you will have a clear plan of action, concrete priorities and a shared view of how to use AI responsibly and practically within the municipal context.
