From AI model to reliable healthcare application with MLOps at LUMC

LUMC wants not only to develop and implement AI, but also to manage it sustainably in day-to-day healthcare. The focus is therefore on developing production-ready AI solutions that can be deployed at scale, reliably and responsibly in a complex clinical environment. Particular attention goes to responsible implementation within on-premise, sovereign infrastructure, so that security, privacy and control over data and models remain safeguarded. From model development and experiment tracking to CI/CD, model serving, monitoring, maintenance and integration with clinical systems: together, we ensure that AI applications do more than go live. They continue to perform well, are managed securely and can be continuously improved.
