Using space more efficiently in the port of Amsterdam with our smart tool for tracking berth use

A key responsibility is maintaining and renewing infrastructure for ships, including berths. That is a considerable challenge in a port where space is scarce. Together with Port of Amsterdam, we developed a smart tool that measures and shows how berths have been used over time. These insights help policymakers decide whether to increase or reduce the number of berths for certain types of ships. Thanks to our collaboration, they can base those decisions on data rather than gut feeling alone.
