Smarter staffing through automatic insight into unusual hours

GVB carries out extensive maintenance on trams, buses and metros. Planning this work is challenging and time-consuming, with factors such as external staff, leave days and different types of planning tasks to consider. The Rail Materiaal department wants insight into unusual logged hours (anomalies). Our anomaly detection model now provides project-level insight into productivity, the completeness of logged hours, overtime and sickness absence. This makes it possible to plan more effectively and staff each project better.
