How to plan faster and better in complex production environments with bespoke data and AI solutions

Many production companies use ERP systems and planning tools that do not adequately reflect the complexity of their operations. As a result, planning takes a lot of time, visibility into capacity is limited and delays occur.

In this webinar, we show how a bespoke planning solution brings all relevant data sources together in one place. This gives you real-time visibility into capacity, availability, dependencies and potential delays.

Standard planning software cannot capture the complexity of production processes. In practice, teams often use a combination of ERP, Excel and manual checks. This takes time, makes planning prone to errors and leaves teams without enough visibility into capacity, dependencies and delays.

Fokker Services Group faced these challenges too. Limited availability of specialist staff, numerous dependencies and complex maintenance and production processes made planning increasingly time-consuming and prone to errors. Using Fokker Services Group’s experience, we show how smarter planning gives teams more control, supports faster decisions and makes operations more efficient.

After this webinar, you’ll know:

  • Why standard ERP and planning software falls short in complex production environments
  • How Fokker brought different data sources together in one central planning environment
  • How to gain real-time visibility into capacity, skills and availability
  • How automated checks help reveal errors and dependencies
  • How to spot delays earlier and help teams adjust course faster

Opening

How many of your operational disruptions still come as a surprise? We start with a familiar picture of the challenges many operations teams face.

Why the usual solutions do not work

More meetings, tighter planning or extra capacity often fail to solve the underlying problem. We show where standard planning tools and ERP systems fall short.

How Fokker Services Group approached it

The case study: how Fokker Services Group brought different data sources together in one central planning environment for greater control, speed and predictability.

The 3 steps towards predictability

A practical framework for organisations that want to plan more effectively in complex production and maintenance environments.

Q&A

Put your questions directly to the speakers.

Despite the project’s growing scale and complexity, the developers remained engaged and worked with us to find solutions. Thanks to this collaboration, we now have a specialised tool we can rely on with confidence every day.
