Compiled by
Data Science Lab, itself a Databricks partner. We are ranked first; that is the only position not determined by the rules below.
Reference date
28 October 2026. All information comes from the Databricks partner directory and the partners’ websites as they appeared on that date.
Candidates
51 partners in the Databricks partner directory (accessed on 28 October 2026) with an office in the Netherlands, plus firms that Data Science Lab follows and that describe themselves as Databricks partners on their own websites.
Eligibility criteria
The partner must appear in the Databricks partner directory or describe itself as a Databricks partner on its own website, have an address in the Netherlands, and name at least one client or project on its own website; a logo does not count. This applied to 36 of the 51. Data Science Lab was not in the directory on the reference date and qualified on the basis of its own partner page.
Ranking
After Data Science Lab come the 9 firms with the most dedicated service pages for the four scenarios in the selection guide. Ties are decided by the number of pages about ML and AI on Databricks, then alphabetically. At the cut-off (0 scenarios), the following were included, with their number of those pages in brackets: Cadran Analytics (1), Danetics (1) and Emixa (1). Eraneos, EyeOn, IG&H and Vega IT (1) missed out on alphabetical order; 22 other firms scored lower. Within the list, firms with the same score appear alphabetically. By that ordering, Data Science Lab would be fourth.
Selection guide
Only a dedicated service page counts, including for Data Science Lab; a mention, case study or tile does not. Migration: the title or H1 mentions data or data platform migration or modernisation, and the page mentions Databricks. Governance: the title or H1 mentions Unity Catalog, governance or data management, and the page mentions Databricks or Unity Catalog. Costs: the title or H1 mentions costs, cost or FinOps, and the page mentions Databricks. Training: a training programme or course with Databricks as its subject. Databricks must appear in the text of the page itself, not just in a partner logo or a standard block.
Scenarios
We started with migration to Databricks, Unity Catalog and governance, ML and AI on Databricks, and management. ‘Building models on Databricks’ was dropped: 10 of the 36 eligible firms have a page for it, including almost everyone in the top ten, so it does not help you choose. ‘Having your Databricks platform managed’ was dropped because too few firms qualify: 1 of the 36. ‘Managing Databricks costs’ (2 of the 36) and ‘Teaching your team to work with Databricks’ (2 of the 36) replaced them. ‘Building models on Databricks’ now decides ties. Whether Data Science Lab has a page for it played no part in that decision.
Considered
International partners without a Dutch office listed in the directory or on their website were not checked. Fifteen candidates were excluded: no address in the Netherlands, no named client, software only, or no accessible website.

Frequently asked questions
A Databricks partner sets up Databricks and works with it for clients: building a lakehouse, managing data access and provenance in Unity Catalog, building pipelines and models, and managing the platform. Databricks lists its partners in a public partner directory.
Because we made this list, and we’d rather tell you that ourselves. The other nine are ranked by the number of services they offer for the four scenarios; see the methodology. Don’t choose based on ranking, but on your situation: for each partner, we explain when they may be a better fit than we are.
Start with your situation: do you need to move to Databricks, set up Unity Catalog and governance, bring costs under control, or train your own team to use the platform? The guide shows which partners offer a dedicated service for each need. For nearly every partner, the evidence of their work links to a case study on their own website.
A data platform consultancy builds your platform and helps you choose between Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or another cloud platform. A Databricks partner works with Databricks itself. If you’re still deciding on a platform, take a look at the data platform consultancies.
Unity Catalog is the layer in Databricks that tracks what data exists, who can access it and where a figure comes from. When you use Databricks more widely, you manage permissions and lineage there. Under ‘Governance’ in the guide, you can see which partners offer a dedicated service for this.
