Business Development Manager

Help build the next phase of growth at Data Science Lab.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who does more than close deals: you’ll help build our scalable data & AI business. Someone who enjoys developing new offerings, spots opportunities before they’re explicitly raised and successfully brings our solutions to market.

Someone who understands how AI is changing the market and acts on it commercially. You’re creative, ambitious and driven by sales and results. This is your chance to grow with us as we expand our services from project-based work to AI products.

At DSL, we build scalable data & AI solutions, from consultancy and implementations to AI products and recurring offerings. That calls for a Business Development Manager who combines commercial skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.

What will you do?

You’ll actively build our sales operation and develop our offerings.

• Position our offerings clearly in the market

• Generate demand among new clients

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new and existing clients

• Discuss AI, innovation and digital transformation with directors and senior management teams

• Close deals and contribute to the growth of recurring revenue

• Immerse yourself in the industry, building and maintaining a network of decision-makers and executives

• Contribute ideas on pricing, packaging and setting up a recurring revenue model

• Use client feedback to initiate new offerings and improvements

• Work closely with Marketing and Data & AI teams to drive market growth

What do you bring?

• At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in data, cloud, SaaS or AI, and plenty of ambition.

• Experience in a tech start-up, scale-up or fast-growing, sales-driven organisation

• You understand how to translate technical solutions into business impact

• You’re comfortable talking to both engineers and executives

• You like taking ownership and adapt easily to a constantly changing environment

• You’re proficient in Dutch, both written and spoken

• Experience with recurring revenue models (SaaS / managed services)
